BB&T, Falls Church, Va.

BB&T purchased First Virginia Bank, which included acquisition of the two 12 story towers located in Falls Church. HCI has renovated the two towers to house Item Processing Center for BB&T along with other commercial tenants. The current on-going project will result in the renovation of all floors in both buildings including the installation of a new sprinkler system and the conversion of an existing wet pipe system in the other building to pre-action. Work has also included the complete renovation of 4 cooling towers on one building and the replacement of 4 cooling towers on the other. Both buildings have remained occupied during construction.
